CE: Memories on Ice

Finally I am getting back to doing contest entries for

I had trouble coming up with any ideas, but then I decided to include Daffodil and this instantly popped into my head. This is supposed to be maybe when Daffodil and Lilac are both much younger. Princess Lilac was raised without much interaction with other kids, so she only had her younger cousin Princess Daffodil really, who comes from a tropical island kingdom. So, when Daffodil would come to visit Lilac's kingdom in the winter, the two would enjoy skating :3 
So here they are spinning around together on skates

This took me quite a bit of time, mostly because I am not the greatest at poses, so I had to figure out one I liked, and then actually make it look half decent. I think I did rather well.

Also disappointing: I shaded the whole thing and because of my scanner you can hardly see some of it :c and of course my lovely blue sky. But, since it's winter the faded blue works anyway. 
Also fun fact: in Lilac's kingdom there are a lot of pine-like trees. 

But all in all, I am really happy with how this turned out! Hope others like it as well :3
